this is gonna be a $5k piece at the very least. Not to mention, I've never heard of Comicave studios before. Imagine the decrease in value when one of those servos goes down.

Seems like Play Imaginative is coming back with this new line. They are based here in Singapore. Last time, they cancelled tons of pre-orders because they couldnt deliver the product and had tons of QC issues. Hopefully they can do things different this time.

That's the only thing that concerns me. Something this complex needs experience and deep pockets to pull off and get off the ground. Even companies that have been in the business a long time don't go near this stuff. These guys have come out of no where promising big things that almost seem to hard to believe.
Hate to say it, but something like this I'm sure will be a QC nightmare. Before and after the sale.
If this thing actually makes it into production and collectors hands I will honestly be utterly shocked.

yeah I did some reading up on comicave and PI and it's certainly dulled my interest a lot. Cool looking proto but by the sound of things that's all it will ever be, why do these companies even bother

Money is no problem for Comic cave as they are part of the Ah Ahli group in Dubai which owns many big malls, Construction company site etc etc. This comic cave is like a sideline business for them.
