I have been purchasing a piece here and there from Tony over the last year or so and every once in a while we exchange an e-mail or two. About six months ago I asked if he would do something up for me. He asked what I wanted and I told him something with Batman and Joker. A lot of time has gone by and he has been really busy writing and drawing Batman. I basically took the approach that if he does it great and if he can't get to it that's cool also. I certainly did not want to bug him about it.
Anyway I got an e-mail from him on Monday saying he had somehing for me and he shipped it on Wednesday. The best part was - No charge - he just thanked me for being a good customer.
It arrived today and I Love it. Sometimes I build things up so much that it can't possibly meet my expectations. This exceeded them.
I want to thank Tony for being one of the coolest artists out there. He has always been just great to work with.
That it was free is even better.
