What about the recoloring?

I have not bought this Omnibus becasue the new colors deviate from the original colors.

But this is also the best way to collect all of Neals Adams Batman since i can't afford the original issues.

Realy do you guys like the recolor?´

The pages are beautiful, IMO.

some pages look vibrant with the new colors. Others look murky and dark. Batman Odissey looks the worst in my opinion. In the end, it is a matter of personal preference. I still recommend this book to anyone for the amount of content alone.

Thanks for the info Keith and JP.

I don't realy care for Batman Odyssey anyway.

I'm only interested in the old Batman comics Neal Adams did.

I wasn't going to buy anything more until I cleared a bit of this growing backlog of books but a deal came up locally for the Planetary omnibus that I couldn't pass up as unanimously, everyone says it is one of the finest ever written. So the guy cut me a really good deal and it came in today. As the rest of my backlog is still in the wrapping and this one is obviously not, I think I'll read this one next after I finish up Dr Strange. Can anyone else say how good Planetary is just to hype it up for me?

No problem. I ordered mine from the U.K. Sellers are already asking outrageous prices for a copy here in the U.S. I saved a few bucks doing so. Very happy happy with my purchase.

Wow is it ever. I couldn't help myself and flipped through a couple pages and it's incredible.

And nothing against Ditko, but going from 1960's Strange to this... well I guess the tools artists use in comics have come a long way. I say with all due respect..

If the original 3 volume HCs can be had for a decent price, I'd pick those up.
