I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Hope this one isn't a comedy.

It's being written & directed by the same guy who did Ragnarok
Personally I enjoyed Ragnarok…. I can see why the studio went with him since Ragnarok made almost $900 million...

Money is a driving force no doubt. That's the problem, but their intention. $$$$$ I'm sure Thor die hards we're disappointed. Seen it once, never again. Deadpool light.

That’s why I didn’t care much for Ragnarok or either of the GOTG.

The campiness in Ragnarok was off putting to me, too. But I ended up loving this film for its serious themes. The death of Odin, the release and deadly rampage of Hela, the destruction of Mjolnir, and the coming of Ragnarok itself with Surtur’s annihilation of Asgard.
All of this left Thor terribly unmoored and struggling with his own worth and identity. It was, and remains through Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, a hero’s journey for Thor. I came to really love Ragnarok for these reasons where, like nbr, I found nothing redeeming about GOTG, especially the second one that I found inane from start to finish.

I just hope they do something interesting and that builds on the existing MCU cosmic universe with it.

Funny. Swap Ragnarok and GotG2 around and sums up my feelings pretty well on those respective films.
