I doubt that they will be with DC for much longer. My guess is that DC is still silent about them because their movies are still coming. After Flash, Aquaman and Shazam they will probably announce the end of this DCEU and the new reboot.

They could have allowed those characters to exit with grace with some sort of flashpoint event. Maybe after fighting Darkseid. Such a shame.

They still could, at least from the standpoint of separating the Snyderverse from what comes next...it'll be interesting to see how this Flash film turns out.

honestly IMO Gunn is vastly overrated, and his GOTG movies and Suicide Squad movie are vastly overrated, I dont like his slapstick style and I fear greatly for the DCU under his management, especially with this Superman decision, I definitely don't think he is the right person for this job

He's co-piloting with Peter Safran, who has produced several of the DCU movies. A complete reboot would be like Safran slapping himself, lol.

Agreed. Remember when Disney fired him for being too weird even for them? Now he's the co-head of DC studios. He failed upwards.

It's already a bad sign if he dumps everything but keeps the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker in his new DC Universe.

If he dumps WW, Superman, Aquaman, Shazam and Black Adam so that he can recast them, then he should do it across the board. It should be a hard reboot.
