Looks like the harness was added for the arm seams. Like they separated the upper body for paint applications incase something goes wrong? Lotta skin lotta hair... maybe.

He has definitely been depicted in the comics with the shoulder straps. From what I understand, they needed to add them because the body is too big to 3D print in one piece. So it needs to be done in multiple pieces and joined together. The joins are almost never perfect, so if that is done in areas without some kind of logical break (e.g. the strap), then that creates imperfections on the final product that would carry over to production. Having the straps solves this issue, and as mentioned will also make it easier for the swap out portraits.

I don't agree with this. I rather the paint apps be perfect rather than over complicate things by adding a "wetness" effect that may not come out looking good.

Personally, I like the K Bros and Daniel's work best. I'm not a big fan of the Hulk statue XM released nor either Cap statue. For me, the best XM Marvel statues are done by Daniel, the K Bros, and Ross. Some of the XM statues people tend to like most do very little for me (Cable is a perfect example). Besides the OG Mags, the 3 artists I mentioned have created the XM statues I like the most. Daniel is at then top of that list. The K Bros would be right there with them if they released more statues for XM. I have loved the K Bros work since their Bowen days and am delighted to see them working in 1/4 scale.

I'm not knocking the other sculptors working at XM but Bel and the K Bros are a cut above IMO.

That's a Fox movie, and they don't have leverage to coerce anyone when it comes to merchandising of Marvel/Disney characters, even those featured in their films.

The harness, wiring, and sensors were put on for the programs training exercises. If he's straight out of the tube, all he's wearing is briefs. Lets not get technical tho.
