Wow he looked amazing on the live show. The massive size and presence i dont think really translated for me until the liveshow. I see why so many voted for him as statue of the show for SDCC

Sigh, I agree with everything you said. Hope he's available at a discount in two years but I doubt I'll be that lucky.

Yeah. Took me a while to arrive at it, but it seems that is really the only way to read what is going on.
I have my doubts that was the original intention going into this design, but I'm not going to begrudge the viewer having to use a little imagination to make things square up.
a hair under 26" (just about the same height as the original Superman PF) and $670.
That's $120 more than the Princess Leia PF for something that is ridiculously more complex in every aspect. While all these are overpriced now, it just goes to show you how much they are gouging with the SW stuff.

Same here. I am a dynamic statue -----. Nothing worse to me than a boring museum pose UNLESS it fits the character and what the vision was for it. I can definitely see Cap in a more stoic pose. But I don't see that for say Scarlet Witch or Spiderman. It does nothing to represent the characters powers and what they can do.
I'd rather have a dynamic posed statue that shows ingenuity and creativity and have a museum posed poster behind it.

I will say I think it's better as a stand alone piece as I don't think the base and pose lend themselves well to grouping.
I don't care for that promo pic. He looks out of place to me.

I like the pic but I agree he looks out of place...which brings me back to the point of Psylocke's base in relation to the rest of the X-Men.

After watching the live video and getting a better sense of his size, I'm in.
Can't see ordering this immediately, but I probably will before the first production photos hit.
Since I don't need the exclusive, I may even order it from somewhere other than SS to either save on shipping or get better rewards points.

Oh God the details on this statue are awesome, the boots, the pants, the elbows...everything.
Bel is a keeper!

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they get stuck on a design for an X-man and they use the old big red X base.
