He was fine. I'm sure he will succeed in the role.

it does look great visually. no doubt about that. and the man has the muscular physique. but im sorry superman's stature means everything to me for the character. blame it on the original films with Reeve and comic lore.. thats why i wish he was a couple of inches taller. and he had a better looking suit. and as i stated its more so the suit i dislike rather than the guy playing him. i dont know much about this guy's acting either. he may be great. will just have to wait and see.
okay, understood

I quite enjoyed him in Immortals too. Though I know some disliked that film.

My sisters friend in Los Angeles works at the art center of design and got to go see a special screening of Man of Steel last night plus a Q&A with the director, I guess Snyder is an allumni there so he screened it for them... She said it was "F'in Awesome" her words not mine... She said the movie didn't even feel like it was 2 1/2 hrs long.. it just flew by..

Zack Snyder (the director) told them the original cut was 3 hrs 20 mins long but they tighten up a lot of the scenes and cut a few things out to get it down to 2 1/2 hrs... I know I'll be buying the uncut version when its comes out on blu-ray

Can't wait to see it...

I have no doubts that Cavill will come through as Superman. I think this is the movie all Superman fans have been waiting for
