They going back to more elaborate bases starting with Evil Dead Ash. All of the MLP with have a figure of the pony along with the girl.

I don't mind the simple bases as long as they do their job of being a base. First edition Freddy and Jason fall over too easily. Mystique never stays pegged in.

It would be nice if they went back to under base storage for changeable parts. MIB Agent G has the best base in both terms of details and under storage.

True. Similarity in static poses like standing/hovering/walking doesn't really bother me that much.

Similarity in dynamic action poses, on the other hand, is a dealbreaker.

Having said that, Koto sure is looking sloppy lately on the pose front. That Defenders ArtFX+ line is a prime example.
