I guess you could infer that by the way his left foot is positioned, but I think he's just preventing that arm from grasping anything by webbing it.

Is this just wishful thinking or do you have insider intel ?
Bel did a Spidey for Imaginarium Arts, and we actually saw some of it, but after they lost their Marvel license Prime 1 acquired the sculpt.

Thing is, Prime 1's own use of (Sideshow's?) Marvel license is also on hold now, so don't hold your breath.

I like it, I'm not crazy about the raised parts of the costume or the eye squint but I like the pose.

It sure looks like the metal has been sheared and you can see the exposed wires as he rips of the claw from the tentacle

Ah, gotcha, missed that. I also missed the fact he seems to have some of his webbing wrapped around his wrist to reinforce the pull.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I think this is going to be a great Spidey. Full reveal on Wednesday will really show us how dynamic it really is and how he views at different angles. The only thing that would suck with a Doc Oc pairing is that Doc will have all 4 of his tentacles and this spidey will have 2 more (at least). I think it will look a bit odd (like they arent really fighting each other) to have full tentacles on both statues. the spidey PF and GG are perfect with the pumpkin bombs tieing them together.

I'm probably in the minority here but I much prefer Ock's tentacles to be slimmer and more snake-like as in the comics.

When they're thicker they just seem more slow and cumbersome to me, the slimmer version I imagine moving super quick and more threatening.

I understand they will have to make them thicker so they don't break but I prefer this look -

The tentacle that Iron Studios put on Spidey's base was absurdly over-sized, it's hard to imagine 4 of those attached to Otto's back.

I'm showing my age, but I bought that issue off a spinner rack.
