I think the vote was for most tragic ending. That's not the same as worst. "Worst" the way you guys are using it equates to "lamest" for me, and then Ghostbusters would win that every day of the week.

Cloverfield hands down is the most tragic ending to the old lady. In the rest she was reasonably intact but whatever the antagonist in this flick is did a real number on her. How far did that head actually fly? While Charlton Heston emots exceptionally well when he sees her the sound of that head flying through the air and bouncing off building and pavement is much more bone jarring IMO. Hopefully the film will deliver on what was shown in the trailer. Pass me a Slusho!
