Mondo Tron and Sideshow Version, the same?

I was wondering if Mondo Tron Martain Ansin released by Mondo which has an edition of 390 the same with the one released from Sideshow with an edition of 120?

I know that the Tron by Eric Tan was a different issue since the Mondo version was separate and the Sideshow was the UNCUT version..

Please help me clarify this..Thanks Guys

Yes the Sideshow versions have a few colors taken out but they are completely different.

They are the same image but have different colour schemes. The most identifiable difference is that for the Sideshow versions Mondo removed the glow in the dark blue from the hero characters. In the daylight those sections are just blank/paper coloured and in darkness they glow green.

I personally greatly prefer the Mondo originals as they are more reflective of the film look and have a nicer contrast in the daylight.

There is a post in the Mondo section on Expressobeans that has a good side by side comparison. But some people there are saying the Sideshow posters are showing up damaged. That's probably another reason to get the original Mondo release.

What are you looking for? The comparison? Just go back to the date the Sideshow TRON variants were released. It was fairly late in the day so you should only have to check a few pages for the image comparisons. I assume you just want to see the glow effects.

I noticed that they started a thread on the damage issue as well.
