Nice! I will need to get me a Samurai Batman. I think him in the center, Catwoman to the left and Poison Ivy to the right would be killer.

These two, along with Dark Phoenix and Storm have paved the way for a new favorite sculptor. Marthin Augusta rocks!

Not sure if lighting or repaint, but I'm loving the more extreme white face.

Lighting definitely plays a role. Here are two pics I took of the same statue from a different angle at a con I attended last September. In one pic, the statue is facing west, the other facing east.

Wow, ok so maybe they didn't repaint the face. That's crazy how much lighting changed the color of her face.

Oh, I imagine you will see white on her face on the final product. I'm simply saying that under strong industrial lighting, like those often used at a convention center, the white may looked washed out. Once the statue was turned away from the lighting at the con I attended, you could see the white more.

This is actually a normal impact of some lighting conditions. Sometimes when I post pics, people ask why my statue looks more colorful than others. The answer is just what you'd think. For one, I don't take cell phone pics and two, understandably when I do reviews, I want to focus on its best sides so I won't have the daylight or home lighting directly hit the statue, if that makes any sense.

Totally makes sense. I guess those Singapore lights were just insanely bright which made her face appear more similar to the skin on her chest and legs.

Personally, I prefer the face to appear more stark white because that is what I picture when I think of a geisha

I think this and the new Wonder Woman from Sideshow are two of the best female sculpts I've seen. They're simply perfect.

I'm actually selling off some of my favorite pieces to be able to afford this. It'll be my first XM statue if I'm able to get the funds in time!
