That price is insane, easy pass for me. Also did anyone see the photos from Comic Con for this piece? I thought the paint application was sloppy. Not worth it in my opinion.

looks great as does the base, but I've yet to see SS ever replicate that brushed metal look on the production pieces ( or even attemp it for that matter) and on this particular piece that finish is essential

Really dig this piece but yeesh getting pricey again. 399$ for Iron Patriot Maquette. 429$ for Mark 42 Maquette and now 479$ for this one? Guessing cause of the fancy base.

479 if it is full cast polystone, and the paint matches the proto. Then that is alright.

$479 for a PVC hollow POS with sloppy paint application is not alright.

The photos on Sideshow's Site look great but i just dont have faith that the production will look good.

Look at some of these photos from there comic con that others have posted, look at the bad paint job, look at his stomach area. Also look at the last photo at the hip area and the bad paint job there.

Also paint looks like shinny plastic then shiny metal. I dont know, lately i have lost faith in there quality control. I hope im wrong.

well if your referring to the brush strokes. that was deliberate i think. for i do believe they are trying to replicate that machined aluminum/metal look that it had in the film?

yes Snadinator those were 499 i believe, so this is less than those.

im jot a huge die hard fan of IM, so this is an easy pass for me. i dont need them all.
looks cool. but i want the MK VII in mid flight pose.

Seems like a weird choice for a base.
