Is EFX pretty much dead as a company?

This probably seems like an answered topic
already, but really curious what happened with EFX?

It still baffles me how they paid so much to get
the Marvel licenses years ago and did all those prototypes only to do nothing at all with it,
past the Starlord helmet.

Same thing with getting Power Rangers and
doing one helmet prototype and then giving up.

Always loved their quality, but not how they handled
their business, for sure.

I wouldnt be suprised if they don't maintain the licences they do moving forward. Especially given the pending announcemnets from Regal Robot and Denuo Novo.

I thought it was hinted that these guys were using the licenses for their own collection or something. I seem to remember it being discussed in one of the threads here.

You mean making prototypes just to keep them for themselves?

That would seem to be a total waste of resources and money.

I remember that discussion as well, basically just a couple wealthy collectors using EFX as a way to get access to otherwise inaccessible props and memorabilia for their own collections.

I don't notice them on FB. I remember when they got the license was so hyped, what a bunch of flakes.
