Production Issue: Smushed / Elongated Faces

It appears that several statues are leaving factories with smushed / elongated faces. This is disappointing, especially when the protos are nice. This is most obvious in the Harley Quinn RWB line but has appeared elsewhere as well.

That Artgerm & Babs looks awful!

The Babs one is horrendous. From the side I almost really liked it enough to get, then I saw the front shot and could not comprehend the squish-age. It's truly awful. The Artgerm one is a travesty as well.

Designer Series Metal Batman might've gotten smushed, too.

A lot of these are cast from silicone molds. That and using the molds for too many casts attributes to the warpage.

This is one advantage things like the Bishoujos have is they are cast from steel molds and come out identical.

No matter the cause though you do expect better of your collectibles.

While that's true, I got tired of bishoujos warping, leaning, or running paint over time. I got rid of mine.
