Seems to be across the board in the hobby. I think Kotobukiya, like others, saw secondary market prices (I've seen original Catwoman sell for $200+) and figure they've been pricing too low.

Seems in general prices have gone up by 60% in the last 3 years... Seems like yesterday Bishoujos were around $50....
The price hike is one of the reasons I've sold off most of my stuff and will just keep handful of 1/4 scale pieces and just finish off my shelf space with some 1:6 DC stuff and call it a day with this hobby... even though I can still afford it, it just seems like a waste of money at these price points... got to draw a line in the sand somewhere...

Didn't that first Catwoman have a very low ES, though?

Not a big fan of her overall, I will likely pass.... especially at over $100.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Holy crap on a stick! $105!?!?! That's getting too freaking high. I'm going to have to give up on some of these at that price point. Damn.

Personally I really like how uniform the pieces are in terms of style and quality. Being stylized the smaller scale doesn't detract the way it can for pieces that strive for realism.

She is pricey though. I know she’s laying down but what would be her scale? Like compared to a Cover Girl or something similar I mean.

Unless Koto is going in a new scale direction, Catwoman should be 1:7 scale.
