What does the "R" on an edition size mean?

I see a statue thats for sale that has R104/168/2500

Any clue what that means?

Interesting. Never seen that. Perhaps something to do with "replacement"?

Replacement? Never thought of that one, not sure why they would give its own edition size.

Not sure it is it's own edition size. Might be #104 replaces #168 (which might have been damaged) out of 2500 for the entire run.

I had the Turner Supergirl fullsize statue that had R infront of the number. Apparently its when its been repaired as that had one the crystals on the base snapped in half and glued back together
