Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

I preordered the consel but still haven't decided on games. I'm curious about the multi platform (360, PS3,X1,PS4) games. Were they developed for next gen then just ported over to older systems or were they just ported over from older systems with little enhancement so they can have games for release of new systems?

most of those games are developed using the new generation of graphics engines which will make the most of the capabilities of the new hardware, but scale the graphics back for the current gen so they run at an acceptable frame rate. It just makes the whole process alot more easy for the devs so they dont have to program for two seperate graphics engines.

That's what I was hoping. I will probably rent games for both PS3 & PS4 to compare them side by side when they come out to test this. Metal Gear V, Watch Dogs, Assassin's creed will be on both systems. I remember the move from PS2 to 3 and they also shared some games. Unfortunately it looked like they were just ported over from the older system. Probably due to development time since the game started out on older system.

I was going to wait, but now I'm thinking of taking the plunge. Amazon has no more Launch ones, and I'm wondering how long before their next batch will come in after launch. Wondering if it's better to order elsewhere.

I believe Amazon is now providing launch versions that are bundled with a game.

This one comes with Watch Dogs and it says it is guaranteed to be available on release day:

I'll Definitley be getting a PS4 but not at launch as I still have SOooooo many games to play for the PS3 & 360 yet. Also GTAV is just round the corner which will take a while to complete
