Good, metallic would look horrible on Batman.

This whole ArtFX+ line was super shiny, and yeah, it does look bad on Bats.

Ugh. The New 52. Some quality stories and great artists doing their take on Jim Lees meh D.C. Costumes. Don't understand the shine at all. The one thing driving me bonkers over the Flash and Green Lantern. I can see Hal having a space shiny suit but that's about it. Did Superman find a new material on some far off planet and make "new 52 armor" costumes with it. Just odd.

just reminds me of the costumes in batman forever and batman & robin, the only material that finish can represent and make sense is rubber - then it doesnt make sense at all because it would completely limit your mobility. it looks ridiculous, sucks that P1 had to use it on the other JL'ers
