I think I've decided to pass on this line altogether though. I could never put my finger on why the portraits weren't working for me; but now that I see nearly all the pieces together, I think they're all too old-looking for younger New 52 representations. Hal and Barry look the most youthful with their smiling EX offerings, but the serious ones may be suffering from too-realistic renderings, made worse by the potentially plastic-looking metallic costumes.

Cyborg's finish looks the most organic and fitting for the character. Might get him as a separate statue.
IMO the only one looking old is Cyborg...they all look young

Sorry, I don't agree. They all look like they're in their mid-thirties, which isn't accurate to where they are in their careers in the New 52. I'm not a classic costume purist, but the portraits would've been more acceptable with those (which is why I don't often agree with folks who think the Sideshow PFs look too old. Those are more classic, legacy interpretations of the characters a la Alex Ross.)

I don't need you to type "seriously" at me like I have defective perception. I'm stating my opinion, just like you. We can agree to disagree. I'm glad people like this line. We need more dynamic superhero pieces like what P1 is offering. The portraits just happen to be enough of a reservation to keep me from investing at this prices the statues go for.

Sorry you take it like that, i wasn't mentionning a defective perception just a total different perception in this case. No offense bro. I like also Prime 1 doing dynamic super hero pieces, we need more of it cause they're doing it great !

This guy looks awesome along with Darkseid. If we ever get some Teen Titans in 1/4 scale I would consider this piece. I really like the face sculpt and that you get a mostly human portrait.

I'm guessing they might just change tactics on this one. While the EX up till now always have been different portraits, I can't seem to find a seam on his neck. They might just do an arm switchout to the white noise cannon. Would be awesome!

Great piece, day 1PO.

Now just nail Batman please (and Aquaman if they are doing him?)
