youre not wrong, thats a fair critique although as someone who used to own the IS piece i can say you can rest easy with the fact this is the better statue for multiple reasons imo. again, congrats - now off to find myself a delicious fritter

Red Pyramid Thing (standard edition) by First 4 Figures
1/5th Scale

This arrived today. It represents my first piece by First 4 Figures
I took these out of the box atmospheric shots.

Back when Silent Hill 2 dropped on the Playstation 2 i knew i was playing a classic.
SH2 ranks in my Top 5 video games made todate. The first encounter with Pyramid Head (as i called it at the time) made it's mark.

Fact is, i tend to avoid 1/5 scale. Fact is, Silent Hill 2 fails to received enough attention when it comes to merch.
When F4F announced this piece, it went on my wants list. $635.99USD seemed like a hefty price to pay for a 1/5th scale piece.

I spotted Sideshow Collectibles had the piece up for $535.00 reduced to $374.50 + i had a $50 gift card to use. I hit that order button.

For a 1/5th scale piece, the box, as nice as it looks, is way over-sized, thus bumping up shipping, not that the box is overly heavy.

What counts most of all, the piece looks great!
The quality is excellent. Base, body, head, 2 arms and assembly is complete.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i sense the piece uses a technique that few (if any?) other companies use.
The carpet pattern on the base and the pattern on the apron could be a large decal over which clear lacquer is applied.

F4F QC PASSED by Chan (..i am not sure what the PAN means?)
Some accountability. Maybe all statue companies should adopt this idea.
Chan QC'd my Red Pyramid Thing and i failed to spot any QC issues.

It sure is

In the future, should i ever reach that point, the plan is to divide my statues into two rooms.
Room 1 - Gaming statues ..and game consoles.
Room 2 - Movie statues ..and any non game statues.

Agreeing 101% to the quality check idea. It would be a better control I guess.

Would you please post a picture beside a Sideshow Premium Format statue? For Scale comparing? Thank you.

Go ahead, make my day..

Harry Callahan 1/6 scale figure by Sideshow Collectibles
Based on Clint Eastwood's appearance in the action-thriller film Dirty Harry

Damn cool figure!
The photo on the left is an out of the box shot.
The photo on the right is the same photo with some Photoshop color contrast adjustment.

An Xmas present to myself..
Friends, family tend to gift booze, chocolates, that sort oft thing, not that i am complaining.
Asking them for a figure would leave them confused.

The Harry Callahan Sixth Scale Figure specially features:
Headsculpt of Clint Eastwood, as seen in Dirty Harry
Tailored Costume, including:
Shirt
Striped Tie
Burgundy Vest
Pants
Belt
Herringbone Jacket with Elbow Patches
Shoulder Holster
One (1) Pair of Shoes

Multiple handsets, including:
Right Pistol Hand
Left Pistol Support Hand
L/R Fists
L/R Relaxed Hand
Right Hand for Holding Badge
Police Badge
