Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I do and I’m definitely going to keep it. Legolas is my fave character and I think it looks fantastic.

Don’t you have this on PO? Or did you end up canceling?

I'm still on the fence. I've "100%" decided I'm not getting Gandalf or Witch King.....and I'm most likely not going to build any kind of LotR focused collection......so I'm wondering if it really makes sense to get this.

But you could still get the Trio. There’s no way they’re not going to do the other two.

I think if you’re not 100% or at least close to it, don’t do it lol. At least that’s how I collect/buy now. In the past, I did way too much irrational/impulse buying. It definitely should be 3Gs worthy and money well spent to you.

I won’t be diving in too deep with LOTR. Just my fave characters. I would have gotten Gandalf if the pose wasn’t what it is. Ridiculous pose for a 1/2 scale lol. I would get Gimli and Aragorn depending on how they execute them. I would like to see some busts as well.

If they did a 1/2 Aragorn - along the same / better quality then InArt, that would be awesome....

Yeah, the Gandalf pose is definitely ridiculous, all things considered. And the PVC portrait is rubbish, I really can't see anyone thinking that's a decent piece to add to their collection.

On top of everything else, I'm also re-evaluating the sense in going 1/2 scale. Considering (IMHO) you don't really get much more / any real increase in detail or quality over the best 1/3 scale offerings - it just seems like an un-necessary space and financial burden.

I think the “it factor” is the significant size difference in 1/2 scale. I personally like 1/2 scale size. There’s definitely a difference in presence.

With what Infinity has planned, I think these would have fit better as 1/3 or 1/4 size. The Gandalf, as is, would have worked great in those sizes imo. I personally think 1/2 scales look best in a museum pose and a simple base.

I agree, I love 1/2 when done right, very noticeable step up from 1/3rds.

Gandalf would have definitely been better in 1/3 with that pose. Most of the Infinity ones are going for a bit more action than museum look which is OK until they do something like Gandalf.
