Good find. Anything from Ghost in the Shell gets my thumbs up 
Given the single color paint app on the body, and the single colour base (black) the price seems pricey.

I agree. As much as I love the series, the price is just too much. I would love to see more GitS statues though, maybe the Major with her clothes on so I can actually display it (I mean I don't mind but the kids might)

+1 this is pretty cool,
A way to justify the price is the rarity. Very unlikely any other studios are going to remake it...

A high quality Ghost in the shell Statue, would be cool.
But nothing 'statue art' about this. Probably same plastic toy like other Bandai related products.

We have no idea what's made of what on this piece, so can't really comment to that, outside of total speculation, especially considering the question of is it a Bandai piece? Goodsmile? With Fans? What combination of?

Yeah that's a safe bet... I doubt they would talk about the finish of the "skin" the way they do if it was just painted polystone.
