Shipping information from my source

"We do not know the final weight on these statues. Captain America was around 40 pounds (18 kg), and Hulk will be around 55 pounds (25 kg). Again, we are going with an estimate, just to have something in our system. This MAY and probably will change, when the official preorder is announced, but even then we will not know the final weight of the figures until they are ready to ship. As with all XM statues, they cost $250 - $350 to ship from Singapore but we are heavily discounting the shipping."

That's about right I paid 314.00 shipping for hulk but I think about 200.00 shipping for cap.....I'm used to buying customs paying the same price shipping for slow boat so to get fedex shipped is a pleasure for me

Yah, that's about what I paid. Took 3 to 4 business days from Singapore.

Seems like XM really is a smaller operation with those shipping prices. No big corporate discounts on shipping here. They need to partner up with someone here in the States. I doubt Sideshow since they are competitors.

They can't partner up with anyone here, they don't have a license to sell here.... That's why all the stores in NA have to buy through a middle man and thus the higher shipping prices...

I forgot about that. So I guess directly setting up an importer is against their contract. That's too bad as the shipping prices alone will cut out many potential customers.

Wow.

$300+ for shipping. Darn shame.

I shipped a Bowen "Smack Down" Hulk to Singapore and it cost the guy $102. At it only weighed 17 pounds. European and Asian collectors have had to deal with this for years, I'm sure we can deal with it too.

Yeah we can deal with it...but I don't like to.

My 1:12 custom Megatron was $400 shipped to me.

My 1:2 Illidan Stormrage I am having commission is going to be probably more than that. His wingspan alone is about 5-6 feet. His height is 5 feet as well.

So believe me...I can understand and sympathize with those who don't want to pay the exorbitant shipping costs.

But if I want something....I will have to pay.
