Ares is the closest God to the demigod Achilles. I appreciate you are going for a stylised look but not many Gods looked like Greek warrior. Hercules for
example wore the skin of the Lion he killed.

It looks good but IMO it's not Ares.

A Cimmerian
I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I think that he should not be bald, it would be aesthetically better for a statue.

Hi Arahom,
I think this looks really, really cool. With the bold head and the beard it is not the what most people imagine a Greek God to look like but I do like the fact that Ares looks so dangerous and initimadating.
The Ares you have chosen reminds me of the Ares as can be seen in the videogame God of War 1 except that in the videogame he had flaming hear and a flaming beard if I remember correctly.

I am very curious to see how this will work out!

I agree with bulls about the look - But by any chance bulls are you reading Hercules from radical comics?

I don't currently own any ARH statues. After seeing Anubis and now Ares I plan to purchase them both. Would someone mind telling me if ARH statues are usually attached to their bases or are they held to them with pegs?

It varies. The ones we produced in China are attached to the base (for now because it is about to change) But the ones (the AP editions) produced here are all separate with pegs!
