The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Her face looks good but in the original artwork her face is more oval. I think they can re-make the face to look a bit better.

The rest of the sculpt looks good. I would order this.

Hmm, something about this statue reminds me of Wei Ho work. Still beautiful though

Attachment 94237Its does look a little like Athena face from Wei Ho. Wei-ho face on Athena.. looks a little better than Poison Ivy. A more oval face.

The body shape is even way off.
Why do they keep making Ivy so curvy, she isn't.
I would say she is leaner in the comics and in this original artwork.

I'm sure you are correct since that's probably the poison Ivy you're use to seeing, and reading about but, back in the mid to late 60's, I think she was drawn sort of a full figured women.
It all depends as to when or what time period you are use to reading or looking at poison ivy when you first encountered her in comics. So everyone's take will be different with this character.

"Most" of the time, the concept drawing is never the same with the actual statue.

I think the face is an improvement, but I prefer the body type from the art. Purely preferential though, like omigeo said.

I hope Yamato pulls through on this. Wonder Woman was a bit of a disaster, but their unblemished track record before it is nothing to ignore either. They seemingly did everything they could with the corrections without scrapping it altogether.

They should also improve on the make up...make it smoked eye shadows just like the one in the art work.
