Prime 1 Studio: Suicide Squad - Harley Quinn Statue

I bit the bullet and PO the EX a couple days ago. Honestly the extra head on the EX is not that big of a deal IMO. I wonder how long the reg will sell out in.

I think that I will take the plain head and fix mascara with my airbrush see if that makes her eyes look better... I might try to do my own head sculpt but in all honesty I probably can't do better.

I think they could have done a much better job on her stand/back drop.

Looks really plain an just doesn't suit her.

Now the SS Joker stand is ridiculous.

As great as the paint app looks, Prime1 dropped the ball with HQ.
My first thoughts on seeing the stand/backdrop were: 'metal cake..'

The lack of Margot Robbie likeness in the face, the symmetrical pose (they should have tilted the baseball bat)
and to some extent HQ's legs all add up to something that could have / should have been better.

HQ was going to be my first Prime1 statue.


Deadshot looks a whole lot better (the statue not the base). Especially the swap out mask.
The Will Smith likeness is pretty good.

When it comes to Deadpool, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Deathlok,
Deadpool gets my vote!

Yeah I'm going to end up getting all 4 of the SS, HQ, Joker, The Bat and Deadshot.

Should be a sick ass collection.

Has there been any word at all as to whether Prime 1 is going to update the face sculpt to better resemble Margot Robbie? I had pre-ordered this one, fully expecting them to update the sculpt but no new pictures have surfaced.

I noticed that although the EX had sold out back in January, it has been available again for the past several weeks. I have just 5 more days until the flex payments start and am seriously considering doing a cancellation. What is stopping me is how much I loved the character in the movie.

Now that P1 has improved the face on the 1:2 BvS Gal Gadot Wonder Woman, I am hoping they are improving the Margo Robbie likeness on this statue.

Harley was on show at the recent Comic-con, and there was no mention of any changes. Seeing as the statue is in the production stage, i can't imagine there being any changes (but you never know). The bubble gum portrait works well enough. I was more bothered by the symmetrical pose of Harley's arms.

I've pre_ordered the SideShow 1/4 Harley. When it comes to Prime1, there's always hope for Suicide Squad 2
