This would be scary. Hot Toys are getting to the scale of needing to purchase neighboring houses to make the display not spill into the kitchen and so on.

The Batwing has a very textured surface across the wing. Most of the wing has a tiled effect, and a seam already exists where the wing meets the body. If the body was slotted to allow the wing to pop in, I don't think the seam would detract.

The bigger the piece, the smaller the customer base is for HT's. I would be shocked if we see this thing outside of 1/12 scale if at all.

There is all kinds of whining about it being to expensive, or being to large to display "pathetic" If we can handle an 89 Batmobile, we can handle an 89 Batwing, I will have to sacrifice a wall, but I will make that sacrifice with pleasure.

If these dimensions are correct, a 1/6 scale would be approximately
Length 36 inches
Width 42 inches
Height 12 inches
I don't know where these dimensions come from. According to the Anton Furst blueprints of the Batwing, the wingspan is 41 feet (~12.5 meters). At 1/6 scale, you're looking at just a bit under 7 feet (~2.08 m). That is highly unrealistic. 1/12 scale is much more likely, at close to 3.5 feet. 1/6 scale would be too massive and too expensive.
