I think we wanna be informed as to what is happening because I don't wanna be ripped off on a bootleg.
My main worry are the Joker Figures (Jack Nicholson) from the 1989 Batman movie that I see for sell in Honk Kong. Not trying to support or buy a bootleg but I feel these are not authentic for some reason. Just my assumption not sure if it's valid or not. But for $300-$350 bucks I better be buying an authentic one and not a bootleg.

with the Joker you should be able to tell quite easily as that has PERS & I imagine that is hard to replicate
$300-$400 is the average price on ebay, definitely some going alot more, even double that price!
Plus BAtman is not popular in HK. It's all about Iron Man. Maybe that is why so many are being sold (apart from that is where the HQ is). Same goes for SW. They just don't sell there

So the eye balls roll around depending perhaps on the direction the Hot Toy is setup as?

nope. There is a joystick at the back of the head so you can position the eyes left/right & up/down. Enterbay had a similar thing before but you had to position each eye separately. With this, they both move at the same time & only DX figures featured this function.
Now, figures - first one being Avengers Hulk, then QS001 Batman & Batman Returns Bats - feature a joystick for each eye, mainly due to the feature breaking (My 89 Bats broke after about two usages)

works best IMO with Heath Ledger Joker cos you can get that real crazy look & Bruce Lee cos you can get the eyes looking to the left/right
