If I remember correctly. when Rey from SVII was solicited, some accessories were not shown. It was only later, Hot Toys announced that they were going to add a lightsaber for Rey for her release.

Anyhow, K2SO droid is a Hot Toys figure I had been anticipating for quite some time and is planning to get. Together with the EVII C3PO and R2 DieCast figures.

And of course Jyn Erso too. Most of the time , Hot Toys is the company that makes the best headsculpts in terms of realism and likeness. They dropped the ball a few times like for Milla Jovovich's Alice in Resident Evil After Life, and Angelina Jolie in Maleficent. But other than these few instances, their headsculpts are the best.

I feel that is a different scenario. When Rey was solicited her role in the film wasn't clear yet. We know who Vader is and what he does. Revealing Rey wields a lightsaber goes into spoiler territory. I believe the lightsaber was only promoted until after the movie was released.

Yeah, I'm all in on the troopers as well.

I honestly wish I could be that way.
I love the design of these new troopers.
Even if the movie is just "okay", I'll still love the designs.

I'm interested in the designs of the new troopers too. I will pass on Sideshow Rogue One TIE Pilot as I just picked up the SS OT version. I have the Deathrooper specialist, Shorepatrol and the TK-14057/Stormtrooper set on order. I may pass on the tank driver since it is just the shorepatrol trooper with a different paint job and modified helmet. I'll wait to the HD photos of the tank driver to make my final decision.

I definitely want Erso, K2SO and maybe Cassian if they make him. I'm not surprised they made Chirrut and Baze even though those are secondary characters. HT knows there will be a demand in the Chinese market. Plus Disney knows inserting Chinese actors will help them better penetrate the Chinese market as TFA made $100M less than Warcraft.

I'm going to work on my Jedha Patrol review over this weekend.
