Ever thought of doing your own line?
Andy,
Or is it Grand Master B? Have you ever given thought to starting your own line of figures?
I know there are advantages to working for the Super Powers, but I'd love to see you start your own line of figures unhindered by Art Direction.
So....????

Will,
Do you really want to see a line of figures portraying the Golden Girls wearing nothing but thongs?
That is what Andy is into FYI...
JK! :P

So Claudio,
You're saying all those man-thong pics we used to see of Tony, Ralph and Ray were actually reference photos for sculpts? What Andy's referred to before as his Private Collection?
OK...It all makes sense now!
Kirk,
Thongs or not, I'd still love to see what Andy could do without the ties of A.D. restraint. Of course it could take him a year to finish a piece, but I'm sure it would be worth it!

I would LOVE to produce my own line sometime, whether it be prepainted statues/busts or even resin kits. Heck, I'd just love to have time to do a few original pieces even if they just sat on my own shelf. As the sole income for a family of 5 (and counting) it can be veerry difficult to find time away from my freelance commitments though.
I envy the other sculptors who've managed to produce some of their own original work, it's certainly inspiring. One of these days.... One of these days...
Just for kicks, what subject matter would you want to see me do an original take on? Aside from potentially controversial Cipriano nudes?

Well.... since you asked...and you wouldn't have to purchase a license for them:
I'd love to see you tackle the Norse Heroes for one --Non-Marvel versions of Sigfreid, Brunhilda, Tyr, etc...
The Thor on your website is awesome.
After that, I'm pretty much game for whatever you bring Maestro!
Uhm...except for the Cipriano nudes...*shudder*

Coming from the guy that sculpted Tony bent over in a sailor suit!
I think the Norse Mythology is a good idea... I've been meaning to do a Valkyrie and a Version of Thor myself...
Andy your not pulling a Villafane are you by making kids and having them work for you... I think there are laws for that! :P

Are you and Ray having some kind of contest?

I think those pirates busts you did for Needful Things are the greatests busts ever. For me, more characters like that would be grand!

Yes...yes, it's true...but I've been blind ever since. Notice the prolific sculpting I've been doing lately?
And brother C, I'd love to see you do a version of a Valkyrie or any of the Norse characters as well.
Those figures give sculptors, IMHO, freedom to really stretch those creative muscles and go wild.
Andy -- Stop making kids and you'll have plenty of time (and money) to start your own line (...of sculptures...). BTW - Kirk's on the money!
