Fell asleep on the sofa over the weekend and was awoken in the wee hours w/ the latest Kevin Smith lecture series on cable from some college somewhere. I stared at it, like I'll stare at a car-crash or South of the Boarder on my way down to FLA. He was amazingly pompous & full of himself. It was like sitting in a bar next to some blowhard on the stool next to you, mouthing off for an hour & a half. What a jack-a$$. He made Bill Maher seem conservative with his ego-based opinions on the world. I was stunned that a guy who has written some damn good comics i.m.o., could be such a fowl-mouthed egomaniac. Clerks was an o-k movie that he still mentions all the time, 20+ years later. Don't get the Smithster.

Watched a bit of it after Walking Dead last night, didn't enjoy it. In fact, it was painful. There are few things more annoying than a bunch of nerds busting each others' balls , and the casual conversations sound highly scripted to me.

Gave it a chance and found it supremely lacking. That Asian dude got picked on so much I was hoping he would grow some and go postal on all of them.

I watched as much as I could. The show was horrible. I wanted to see what Kevin Smith's comic shop was like and it was just like every other comic shop. A mess with stuff all around. No need to watch this show again.

I've been to the Collingswood Flea Market a couple times and it's a real $h!t hole, LOL.
That guy running the the store Walt Flannagan use to come into the comic shop I worked at at least once or twice a month, not a particularly friendly guy and he never bought anything.
