Maybe it the hole has a purpose. To allow the base to expand and contract slightly in hot/cold weather?
..or am i being dumb?

Since the bust base is hollow, I assume it is a vent hole. But it is very small. If Drum18 didn't mention it, I probably would have never noticed it.

Decided to ask Sideshow about it. Here's their answer:

I reached out to our team and they said the hole is most likely to help the statue dry out during the production of it

Yeah pretty much all pieces have a hole to release pressure.
Usually hidden. Weird that they would put it there though.

My waitlist @ sideshow converted tonight & I put her on a three payment plan. I was hoping to find the 1/2 scale instead, but whenever one is listed, they seem to sell in seconds & I always miss them. I haven't even seen one lately, so it looks like my Prime 1 Trinity will be in 1/3 scale!

I have just unpacked the bust from Sideshow - the thing that sticks out to me is that the skin texture is just - bad, it's like she's got goosebumps/incredibly large pores. Is this the same for everyone - it's particularly bad on her arms/chest/collar? I like the rest of the statue, but is this the norm?
(ETA - I have scrutinized everyone's photos, and think the answer here is yes - sorry to bother!)

Yeah think I might have to get creative with the lighting on mine to minimize the rough-looking skin texture...

Has anyone received the regular statue version yet?

Unfortunately it is a bit too texturised. The 1/2 more or less has the same effect (at least on the legs), but the problem is that it’s about the same size between the two scales. But honestly I stopped thinking about it after having it in hand for a few days.
