Sideshow Military, First-Responder, and Teacher Discount

Don't know if this is old news or not, but for those who don't know, Sideshow has added a discount for military members/vets, first-responders, and teachers. It's 15% off for all in-stock items.

I have been a critic of SSC lately but this is a classy move. Well done, SSC!

Pretty cool, but also whack that teachers get a discount over healthcare professionals who were actually going into patient's homes from the very start of Covid. Rant over lol

Looks like it doesn't apply to everything, but worked for most in-stock PFs. No stacking discounts, obviously.

The verification site is really easy, same one you use for other purposes.

Curious. How do they verify that you're a vet, military, first responder or teacher?

15% off is pretty good!

Looks like it's an option at checkout and the tool they use to verify is ID.me

Thanks for the heads up, I prefer to shop at places where I get military benefits!

So I'm not a teacher, but I do work in education. I wonder if that makes me eligible?

If you have a school ID card..and or school email. Edu.com you can use those to help verify.
School payslip works too.

But I’m pretty sure you have to be affiliated with a proper school.
