I’m not sure what kind of mind control Psylocke has you under but i shall try to free you.
Although the faces are at slightly different angles you can see the differences,

- chins are difference shapes
- jawlines are different
- ear placement are different
- eye angles are different

Sonoya has:

Fuller lips
wider nose
larger eye

Its not that Sonoya was skinnier in Ex machina its more so that psylocke's head is just narrow.

But, for the people that are claiming "oh but she's Asian," have yet to find a single picture of celebrity or non-celebrity alike that looks even a tiny hint of what this portrait looks like. Even Googling for pictures yields no results. Trust me I've looked many times trying to find one picture of any woman that looks like this.

Now, as Grphyx stated we all see different things. If you see Lucy Liu, then more power to you. I don't see even a hint of resemblance.

Yes there are some differences, but shes half asian half white, which is why i also put Lucy Liu in the mix, together they are a fitting Psylocke.
Either way, the differences you mention are fairly sublimal, and not large enough to dismiss this Psylocke from being Asian looking.
