I used to go on Thursday for a few years. Then I started going Thurs and Friday. Now I treat it like a vacation and I go Weds-Sat and generally enjoy my entire time there.

This!

I went 9 years in a row the last year I saw the ridiculous line to just buy tickets for next year, used to be nearly empty previous years. I passed found out later it was all sold out, and haven't been since, haven't tried though since moving out of state. Plus cost was getting crazy for tickets, luckily my father lived in Oceanside so not hotel costs or plane tickets

If any of you watch The Big Bang Theory, last nights episode is about the guys trying to get comic-con tickets and it's hilarious!

My wife and I laughed so hard at that scene. Afterwards she turned and said to me "THAT is what it's like living with you."

That scene was not too far from the truth.

The scene where they're constantly hitting refresh reminded me of me for the past few years lol!

anyone who wants to try to do a plus one for me would be appreciated and rewarded

Not sure why, but even though I went last year I was not able to get a professional badge nor am I able to try the pre registration round. Crazy.

If you can't pre register then I don't think someone else can get it for you because they have to put in your code. If you can't get a code then they can't get you a ticket.

Anyone else have additional info that can help?

Thanks for the info MB. Very odd - it's as if I didn't have a badge from last year.
