I dunno.
I don't know about half of their line being the wrong scale (and I believe some of the reason for some of the bigger stuff is because Sideshow has the license for 1/4), but I dothink these would have done much better at half the price. Heck, at half the price the Eva-00 is still a crazy $800.

I don't think so because me personally I would not buy something like an evangelion unit unless it was big. EVERYBODY is doing marvel and D.C prime 1 stands out exactly because they make bigger statues and statues of characters that are more niche

ALL prime 1 has to do is lower the ES and stop doing re-paints.

The problem is that too big/expensive + niche = edition sizes have come down a lot for this reason. It may not be a sustainable model long term unless you are Sideshow type of operation.

The 350 ES on the 00 Unit?

Lower ES means higher price per unit, which is the case with the low-ES 00. Also, these statues are enormous, so much so that a statue half this size would still be decently big.

These Eva's are going to sit in warehouses for quite some time unless they drastically cut the ES like they did with some of the Batman stuff.

Yes it was. $1600 is just way too much for the 00, in my opinion - I'd be pretty peeved if I had preordered 01 and 02 and was intending to complete the set.

I wouldn't have bought it if it was any smaller, that was a big reason I canceled the g1 optimus

this price on 00 is what it is due to the es, the es is what it is due to it being a $1000+ statue of the rebuild unit 00 - even if this was smaller at half the price it would have been a tough sell

I have no space issues. the thing with me is that I have to have the whole set I cannot stand knowing anything I collect is incomplete. If they would let consumers pay less each month on a payment plan then I am sure more people would pre-order more statues. I would get all 3 units right now if they let me pay 50$ a month.
