New interview in Entertainment Weekly: https://ew.com/comic-con/2019/07/17/...x-powers-of-x/

Hickman has some criticism about the way comics relate to their movie counterparts these days.

I liked Hickman's run on Fantastic Four up until they tried to kill of Human Torch. I haven't read any of the man's work since then though.

HoX was outstanding! Very excited to see what Hickman is going to do moving forward.

His story arcs are always epic. He wrote in my opinion, some mind-blowing battles like Franklin Richards and his herald Galactus vs. the Celestials, and Black Panther wearing an Infinity Gauntlet fighting Dr. Doom infused with the power of the Beyonders.

HoX and PoX will be sitting in my comic box. I'm excited to get them.

I saw that Hickman said which mutants were "omega level" once and for all... and my girl Storm is on it. Damn skippy she is! Woot!

Storm became one of my top X-Men after reading that collection trade called "Life Death"
She had no powers at the time, but the way Claremont wrote her made me feel like her real super power was just her being able to come back from the depths of despair and make things happen for her team.

PoX is not what I was expecting but I enjoyed it. Interested to see Hickman fill in the holes and how it will tie back to HoX. Definitely way more going on than we’ve been shown. I’m in for it!

HoX and PoX did not disappoint. I will say I enjoyed HoC more, but I am very interested to see how we get to PoX bc the story is fascinating!

I’m very excited and happy to have a regular X-series. Now the debate is what books to read when they split off into multiple books again. Obviously the Marauders bc Storm is on that “team”.

What is everybody going to read after these 12 books?

Definitely Uncanny X-Men. Might give the Marauders and X-Force a try

My question is where is Polaris? It seems that all of the books that have been solicited have a good variety of different C-men in all of them yet no mention of Polaris anywhere. Next to Marvel Girl (thank god Jean has a code name) and Havok, she is my favorite X-Man. (Now if we could get Kitty Pryde a code name again......)

What did everyone think about the retcon of Moira’s origin? I’m in for it and want to see a few of them expanded on.

As for the new books, I’ll probably give them all a go, but Fallen Angels has the least appeal to me, and I don’t see the Marauders book lasting all that long.
