Yep, same. How could you take such an interesting idea and turn it into mindless, poorly written, and except for maybe two people; horribly acted, drivel? The people making that film missed a huge opportunity.

I think most people couldn't get past how their beloved DC characters were portrayed and therefore couldn't enjoy the decent movie in front of them. If most could pretend these were original characters for the film I honestly believe they would have enjoyed it on some level.

Suicide Squade was not that great but i enjoyed it. Margot Robbie and i always wanted a less abusive Harley&Joker relationship and the film gave me that.

Can't say I agree with that at all since the only characters that were beloved to me were Harley, Joker and Croc, which yes they messed up two of them, but otherwise I thought the plot was ridiculously thin and the Acting outside of Smith and Robbie was pretty terrible. The dialogue was fairly horrible. It was over all forgettable at best.

I think they could have done oh so much better especially with the theme of terrible people doing terrible things for the right reasons. After all, that's Suicide Squad, I just feel they dropped the ball...off a building.

Especially when a street level copy and past of GOTG would have served as a great template. Instead we got a messy, poorly constructed and poorly edited mess.

Watching it a second time it's almost unwatchable to me.

Nope it was bad movie just plain bad. The film was in a hurry. One minute they are a bunch of psychos, next in a team and nek minute saving the world.

Not true of me. I just thought it was a bad film. Storyline, characterization, plot, acting, pacing. Just eye candy of anfilm and not great eye candy at that.
