Maybe they just have another big party dance scene they didn't get out of their system. LOL
I want big chase scenes like in the second one on the highway - I love that one!

Possible but redundant.

So there's going to be agent Smith Jr. ?

These days, why don't they just remake the first one?
Megan Fox as Trinity. Get JJ Abrams to direct.

I guess I'm one of the few people who enjoyed the Trilogy as a whole and view it as one story rather than 3 separate films. The ending seemed pretty finite to me though. That said if the story they've come up with is good I certainly wouldn't be opposed to returning to the world of The Matrix for 2 more films.

I completely agree with Hellboy there. I loved the Trilogy, and would definitely watch the films if they decided to go ahead, but even if they weren't I'm already pleased with the way they tied up the story. Heck i recently had a Matrix Marathon

I still think the second movie was pretty good (the twins and the high way scene were always great, and it had monica belluci), but the third was unwatchable

why bother with more?

Reloaded had its great action moments, Revolutions tried to match up to the first movie's philosophical undertones and attempted to be epic in action, but was comparatively disappointing.

The Matrix still holds up and is one of the best sci-fi action movies and still one of my favourite films.

The Matrix universe is vast and has unlimited good storytelling potential, so another sequel? I am totally on board with it.

1st= awesomeness.
2nd= with the exception of the Highway chase and the burleyman brawl awful.
3rd= with the exception of the superman fighting of the climax, awful again.

Where could they go to make a pretty average trilogy worse.

I feel the same way...I look at all three flicks as one.

agreed. Just because there are talks of a 4th film, doesnt mean it takes place AFTER the third one. the ending of the third film seems tough to get Neo back from...but there could be 1.5 or 2.5 to expand the story to 5 films with "3" still being the last.

I thought that was more of an ongoing joke, right? Nobody is seriously considering Bill and Ted 3, are they?

Wait...I guess it will have to be Bill and Ted 3-D

Oh God, it's going to happen, isn't it???
