I know, I know....busts aren't "supposed" to have arms. If we adhere to that strict definition then I guess I only like the "deviant" busts that have arms.

I guess we all still want to call them "busts" since they started out that way, but you're right, they're really half-statues now as the demand for arms (the call to arms?) has all the statue companies "arming" their busts.

neca's motu mini busts look good and they don't have arms. i bet if gentle giant decided to do the blackhole stormtrooper without arms we'd still be in a rush to buy it. of course they look better WITH arms but i'm still happy to have them without arms.

Wow, that Phoenix bust is hot. The other ones look quite nice, too.

I could live with the lack of arms on that Psylock if the sculpt didn't go so far down. To me it should stop at the waistline if you're going to call it a bust. Otherwise it's just a FS sculpted by someone who couldn't sculpt feet properly so they dodged the bullet.

I wonder if feet are actually hard to sculpt . . .

lol...I doubt it...just remembering my old habit back when I still used to draw occasionally. If there was something I didn't like portraying, I'd either find a way to conceal it or just go off the page altogether
