Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I don't think there's a "better" license so to speak, I suppose if you're referring to money then I get it. Ultimately, it's just a matter of a preference. A Street Fighter statue is just as special as a Marvel statue and vice-versa.
No, its not about money.

Last SF game sold 1.6 pieces vs estimations for 2mill pieces. 60-70% of the sales were older guys buying from nostalgia. New guys or 14-15y old boys play 100s of games each year and they dont give a s..t for SF. SF is "fading". Slowly, but fading.

Check out, Superman. His comics sell for millions. 90years later. Check superhero movies. Check the fact that todays YOUNG generations are brought up with DC/Marvel. Not MOTU, MOTU is a thing of the past, as SF is going to be soon. The last game was a fail with sales WAY under estimations and the average age of players being on the highest possible. Ckeck out Robocop. WE love it. Young generations dont give a f..k.

Can you NOW get what im saying? Jerry is wasting his TALENT (sculpting muscular males like God himself) on licenses that are dying. Ok, he will sculpt the ultimate Sagat 1/3, but in 25-30y noone will give a f..k.

Now think. Museums 200 years from now. They will SURELY have things from our generation or our century. Dont laugh, currently we have museums displaying the art and the culture of the 18st century.

What are they going to display as the "pop culture art" of the 21st century or the 20st century? Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, MOTU ? NOPE. They will have limited space. ONLY the best representations will survive the test of time.

DC / Marvel / Star Wars.

Children 200 years from now are going to visit museums and see art from Superman, Hulk or Thanos. Or Darth Vader.

Jerry WASTES his talent and i BET that in 4-5 years he will cooperate with Sideshow . Jerry hates execs and big companies (WB, Disney etc), these things will get done by Sideshow which is more experienced with big licensors and "execs with costumes". Jerry hates such things. He is a SCULPTOR, after all. Not a warehouse manager

Jerry will only sculpt. A madman, a maniac, a Michelangelo. Non-stop being possessed by the thirst for artistic excellence.

He should give us the ULTIMATE Hulk or Juggie or Bane or Thanos. He is THE man to do it, probably he and Martin Canale. Michelangelo and Raphael. The ULTIMATE sculptors of male anatomy of our era. PERIOD.

I have to disagree on MK is dead ...Kintaro is about to be released and so far he is the best of the Klassic line just what it needs ...I think with lot's of MK being shipped collector's needed a break to pay for all the goodies then game on with Motaro and Sindel

You do realise the art of sculpting exists outside of pop culture mass market statues right? Can you honestly say you know the work of 1000s of male anatomy specialists well enough to make such a bold statement?

Yes, but you always have to remember with video game sales that word of mouth and reviews are very important. Street Fighter V has issues and the reviews and word of mouth were not great, is why lower sales can be attributed to the actual game.

You can get younger players into Street Fighter by putting out a better game, simple as that. Just like no one cares about older properties until someone does something good with them, and then all of a sudden the younger crowd gets it's hands on it and it takes off again. That's why these franchises can last decades instead of one minimal run.

Sorry but your take on Street Fighter being a waste of time is off because you're skewing the numbers with your own bias instead of just what happens to any game when the reviews and word of mouth isn't particularly amazing.

Look at Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, has the Marvel Characters right? Should sell well right? Except all the word of mouth going around right now is that the game looks boring and tired. I bet it's sales are well below estimates. Has nothing to do with Marvel though. The game dev's just need to up their game and make something a little more exciting.

All in all, People should be glad PCS does something a little different. I do think there are licenses that PCS could handle well but just because I think that it doesn't mean that they would sell well, or that PCS wants to do them. So let PCS do PCS, and just enjoy what they do.
