not to derail the thread, but what did you think of SDCC? From an overall perspective and from the perspective of an art collector?

I get too distracted by all the other stuff going on at SDCC. I don't even think I made it to every art booth. Once I made my purchases from Kwan Chang and Risso my art budget was blown so I didn't want to look and get tempted by anything else. I love the art I got but I got really burnt out by the show this year. The crowds are just brutal. It's so hard to get around the show and look. It's been 27 straight shows for me so I think it may be time to finally take a break. I've been saying that for a few years now but I keep going back.

This is just stupid good, Ken. IMO, Ed is one of the best artists in the game and this piece is a prime example why. Phenomenal!!!

Thanks. I was nervous going in since it wasn't cheap going 11x17 with 2 characters and background. I love Risso's work but its always a roll of the dice when you commission something. Thankfully this came out WAY BETTER than I could have possibly imagined.

Turned out great Ken. Congrats
Thanks for posting .Seems like less and less art coming out if SDCC and more tv and movie autograph and meets. Boooo
