just catching up on this. I don't care where he's looking, but will be disappointed if the eyes don't "match up" especially for the price I paid.

That would be funny if this was the case so the fine folk at XM are like "Fine! He WON'T be looking down the sights of his gun.... with BOTH eyes" and then there is evil laughter.

Was I wrong that XM modified the gun so that this issue was addressed? I thought THAT was the Disney stipulation.

Yes, exactly. There is no imagination on the Sentinel diorama. There is all types of imagination that can be used for Cable.

Wow. This looks every bit as good as Magneto.
And the eye's look fine in that pic. It appears they are both staring off into the distance (but in the same direction).
I would think it would make for a better display that way, rather than staring down the barrel of the gun.
I won't be getting it, but it looks epic.

I really don't think they are wonky. They seem to be looking the same direction to me:

With this straight on shot, there is quite a noticable difference of the cyborg eyes looking to his left. It was modelled to look out where he is aiming. They havent changed the model, they just didnt match the paint app of the normal iris direction (which also looks too small in proportion to eye size). Even the curvatures of the cyborg eyelids are opened more to the left to give him the look of looking to the left. The whole eye is modelled for that purpose.
I want cable eyes to be JUST like below. Looking at the right direction. With the same size too!
