Did anyone see Evangelion 2.0?

I saw it in the theaters here in NYC a couple of weeks ago during its very limited run and thought it was great! MUCH better than the first which was essentially just retelling the original tv episodes. I realize all of these movies are retellings but 2.0 was different enough from the original episodes to be very enjoyable. Beautifully animated of course.

Here's the trailer

Yeah I heard it's very well done.

And this 2.0 also successfully rejuvinated the franchise's toy market.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yep

love Evangelion, very much enjoying the 'rebuild'.

it's the last one I'm REALLY hanging for.

I love the ending of the TV series and "The End of Evangelion" theatrical feature is one of my all-time favourites, very hard to top. Really keen to see what they come up with!

Agreed. I love popping in the End of Evangelion DVD from time to time.
I wonder whatever happened to the live action movie project Weta was working on years ago?
