When finances permit, I’m not against going after an expensive piece, and I’m not terribly sophisticated in my deliberations. I can be moved by low edition sizes, and pedigree, but what I’m really looking for is size. I’m the neanderthal collector who would jump over a Van Gogh, for a Warhol because it occupied more wall space. That said, if the price tag is shockingly large, the presence must match, or it’s a no.

And I’m fully aware that she said that
