No matter what, there will always be something that someone feels got snubbed. Put too many pieces from one company, and we get accused of bias. Put too little, and we get called out for putting in statues that "no one cares about"...sometimes it's no win. Ultimately, negative comments are often the loudest, so we have to take it all with a grain of salt.

Some categories gave me headache,
espiecially between the Tweeterhead Catwoman and the Tsume Shiryu !
Imagine the task of wading through ALL the releases...some very tough cuts had to be made. Thanks for voting!

Not liking the large scale list. There are better statues to choose from.

Voted! Always enjoy these awards.

Next year is going to be tough. There are a lot of good statues coming out! Might have to have more on each ballot.

Great job, guys, and thanks for the hard work! But I find really weird to have Daredevil from IS there when they released Hawkman this year.

3 of the 5 statues I received last year are in this.

I had a tough time deciding between Tweeterhead Catwoman and DCC Batman. Went with Catwoman because I ogled her longer

Glad Weta has a much larger standing this year. I voted for Frodo. I really enjoy collecting their small scale line. Their 1:6 Lurtz collectors are receiving right now has potential to win the category in 2017. I'll post photos when I get mine.

Last year we cut off at November 30th, so there were statues released in December 2015 in this year's competition.

Hawkman is great. In honesty, because it was a convention exclusive, we just missed it. You can still vote for it by using the 'other' option.

I just can't figure out why the Hulkbuster from IA is in the X-Large category, since it is 1/4. I thought the categorys are defined by scale and not size per itself. So 1/4 Scale should be Large imho.

Based on input after last year's event, we are giving some consideration to retail price. As you can see in the original post, the title for each category gives a scale and price.

The XL category now includes over 1/4 scale AND statues over $1,200 USD retail (not including shipping). The Hulkbuster from IA retails at roughly $1,700 USD, thus was put into the X-Large category.

Similarly, the Prime 1 Transformers are technically 1/10 scale or something...smaller than 1/5 at any rate...but, they just don't belong in the Small or Medium categories.
