My Humble Collection
Well thanks to photo bucket my other collection thread went to crap so if you're the mods delete it I'm starting over. Here we go....
Growing up in the 80s you just weren't a kid unless you were buying GI Joes, He Man, Transformers, Thundercats and ..... the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I can't begin to talk about how huge these 4 turtles became but I remember seeing them for first time at my cousins in issue 7. I was hooked . Years later here I am collecting statues in my early 40s and I finally have the only set TMNT I'll ever need to get. Playmates coldcast
9" statues made in early 2000s.
Brief history on these guys they started 2002 ( Leonardo ) 2003 ( Mikey ) then sales tanked and Donny & Raph weren't released until 2005. It seemed pretty easy to get the first two as many were made but over years the other two proved near impossible to source. Numbers on Raph I was told were way under 1000 worldwide and Donny as little as 100 pieces ever made. They truely are a rarity as a set and fetch stupid money in after market at least the two htf turtles do.
That being said you won't see a better representation of TMNT we grew up loving in comics as this set here. To make things even cooler all statues link together to form a diorama. Red bandanas and their weapons to boot. They recreate the first splash page from issue #1 way back in 1984. I present the best TMNT statues ever made period !!

What a beautiful sculpt. No wonder Thanos loves her.
Congrats.
