I checked my order history.

I got the new Batgirl in February - $42 shipping

I just got Supergirl today - $47 shipping

And they appear to be almost the same size shipping box. Geez, shipping costs are outta control. Plus, that 10% TN sales tax. Ugh.

It's been insane for international collectors now (I'd say years). It used to cost like less than 10 bucks to ship PFs. The Sabretooth PF shipping next week for me is $112. Scarecrow is about the same.

When did they start charging out of state tax? I always thought only CA residents got charged tax. That extra $100 on top of the statue really stings. No matter where you live add another $100-150 to the cost of the statue.

January 1st of this year they were required to start charging me TN sales tax. If I had known that was coming, I would have preordered about 7 other PF’s in 2019. Luckily, I ordered Scarecrow last August so I won’t be charged sales tax for him or the Prime1 Harley Quinn.

If I order the Mr. Freeze PF now, I’ll be paying $72 just in sales tax. Damn.

Maybe it’s a covid up-charge in the USA but when I add both Cable & Scarecrow shipping cost, they are both the same. That doesn’t make any sense. Then when I got Jean Grey shipped, it’s way cheaper than scarecrow.

Oh that's right, my first statue order was the Ventress Mythos back on December 28...if I had ordered 4 days later, I would've had to pay an extra $35 (6% MI sales tax). 10% in TN, wow, that's brutal...I hope they put your tax dollars to good use

Yeah, they need to be fixing all these pot holes in the roads around here. Lol. I wish SS would have made us all aware of the change coming, I would have preordered a ton of PF’s before January 1st that would have saved me hundreds of dollars.
